Duncan and Yashvi
Well Done for your continuous effort in your Learning Logs.

Duncan always completes his challenges using lots of detail and always ensures it is extremely neat.
Yashvi also includes lots of detail and often does extra things that are not even suggested on the challenge, including adding in a watercolour painting or too!

Thank you to all FS2 children and parents for your support and effort in completing the Learning Log challenges.

The last learning log challenge was to show what new phonics you've learnt. Some sounds we've been learning have two letters like; oa, ie, ou, ng, oo, ai, ee, ar. Some of you wrote lists of words that have the sounds in and some of you wrote sentences with those words in. There were some super illustrations too. Tilly even made her own sound book and put it inside her learning log. Have a look at them in the photo slide show

We have had a very enthusiastic response to our first Learning Log challenges in FS2!

Here are some super examples, showing a range of different approaches to the recent targets.

Tilly decorated her fantastic writing with photographs and stickers.

Riley used a photograph, wrote a sentence and showed us what he had learnt that week in school.

Jake used lots of different ways to to show his knowledge of letters and sounds.

Elizabeth went out looking at buses, display boards, in shops and even in lifts; to find as many different numbers as she could. Some of them were very high numbers!

Millie practised writing numbers and drawing the objects to match, to practise her counting skills.

Yashvi challenged herself with 'one more' and 'one less' as well as practising her addition skills!
