We are enjoing to story of Jack and the bean stalk this week and have got our own magic beans in class... we have been using our imagination to think what our magic beans could grow into!!
We came up with all sorts of ideas from a Ben Ten world (Jacob H), to strawberry fields (Shannon), a King's palace (Alex) and many more!!
Here we are using the story to lead our play....

The post about the 'Big Hungry Bear' story (last week), asked you if you could design what you thought the 'Big Hungry Bear' might look like as we don't see him in the story. Bobby brought his idea in this morning so I've photographed it for you all to see!!

Well, we planted our beans last week and this week we are going to be reading the story 'Jack and the Beanstalk' and thinking about what we would like to grow from our magic beans.
Your big talk this week will be to discuss what you would wish to be at the top of your beanstalk.... if you looked out of your window tomorrow morning and there was a beanstalk, what would you hope would be at the top?

We are very excited to be the focus blog this week!!! We have had May Bank holiday today and are back in school tomorrow so we'll keep you updated on our activities this week as we go along!!
This is a new idea we haven't tried before! I know Mrs Warner and her year 4 class have been using 'WallWisher' so I thought I'd introduce it to you! The idea is, it is like a giant notice board and everyone posts a 'sticky note' onto the board about the subject! We can all see each others ideas and share thoughts etc! Have a go!!!
